Welcome to altogether beautiful. I’m so glad you’re here.
The vision for altogether beautiful. was born from my own story—a story shaped by trauma and abuse that began so early, I grew up not knowing life was ever meant to be different. For many years, brokenness affected the way I saw myself, my relationships, and even God. But my story did not end in the places that wounded me. Through some of the darkest seasons of my life, I began to encounter the love of Christ in ways that changed how I understood my story and, ultimately, how I saw myself.
The name altogether beautiful. comes from Song of Solomon 4:7: “You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” Those words represent so much of the heart behind this space. We often look at our lives and see the broken pieces, the mistakes, the scars, and the things we wish we could erase. God sees something different. He sees the whole story, and most importantly, He sees our hearts. When we surrender those broken places to Him, He is able to bring healing, purpose, and redemption to the places we once believed were untouchable and beyond repair. Through His Word, His love, and the people He sends to minister to us along the way, He begins to gently knit the broken pieces of our souls back together.
This website was created as a place where photography and storytelling come together to share stories of women who have encountered God in the middle of real life. These are not stories of perfect people with perfect lives. They are stories of loss, addiction, trauma, heartbreak, survival, faith, healing, and redemption. Through photographs and personal testimonies, my hope is to give women a place to use their voices and allow their lives to bear witness to the God who sees them.
Photography gives me the opportunity to capture more than what someone looks like. I want to capture something of who she is, where she has been, and who she is becoming. Behind every photograph is a person with a story, and behind every story is an opportunity for someone else to realize she is not alone.
My prayer is that altogether beautiful. becomes more than a photography website or portfolio. I hope it becomes a place where stories that were once accompanied by shame can be used for purpose, where women who once felt silenced can find their voices, and where someone reading a testimony can recognize the presence of God in her own story.
There is beauty in being seen. There is power in telling the truth about where we have been. And there is hope in discovering that even in the chapters we would never have chosen, God was there.
This is altogether beautiful.
Her voice. His glory.
